The inaugural Gathering of Researchers (GR) is a 4-hour pre-conference session on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. The GR brings together researchers working to improve and shape the future of simulation research in nursing by answering important questions related to education, patient safety, technical skills, hospital based simulation, and other important topics. The GR is an opportunity for novice and seasoned researchers to meet, greet, and work together to improve the quality of their research. This is an IDEAL venue for PhD and DNP students to meet seasoned researchers, hear and participate in peer critique of a variety of research ideas. Individuals may submit slides for consideration during the Call for GR Presenters or attend as a participant to provide feedback. Interested attendees should register for the GR as a pre-conference session during the 2017 INACSL Annual Conference.
The 2017 GR will feature an open presentation by Dr. Greg Gilbert on reproducible research. Six researchers will be invited to present their research ideas for 5 minutes each and receive audience feedback.
Call for GR Presenters has been extended to 12:00pm (PT) Sunday, March 5.
