Dr. Nicole Harder, PhD, RN, CHSE is an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada, and an adjunct faculty member with Bryan College of Health Sciences teaching in the Simulation Education Graduate Certificate program. Nicole has conducted several education sessions nationally and internationally educating faculty members on techniques in simulation, and how to get the best learning experiences for their students. Her research work has been funded both by local and national funding bodies. She has authored many papers on the use of simulation in nursing education, and is currently the associate editor for the peer reviewed journal Clinical Simulation in Nursing. In addition to working with INACSL, Nicole has been involved on other boards including serving as the Co-Chair of the Canadian Association for Schools of Nursing (CASN) Taskforce on Clinical Education, former Chair of the CASN Simulation Special Interest Group, and the President of the Western and Northern Region-CASN.
