Teresa Gore, PhD, DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C, CHSE-A, is an Associate Professor at University of South Florida College of Nursing. She completed a Certificate in Simulation Education and became a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and CHSE-A (Advanced). Her simulation work focuses on improving patient safety and quality patient care. Dr. Gore has published on simulation topics, including articles on simulation use, chapters on simulation, and was one of the BOD that developed and published the first Standards of Best Practice: Simulation in 2011. She has also presented simulation topics both nationally and internationally. Teresa received the 2010 and 2013 SGA Outstanding Faculty Award for the School of Nursing at Auburn University and the Marie L. O’Koren Alumni Award for Innovation in Teaching from UAB in 2013.
