Clinical Simulation in Nursing is an international, peer reviewed journal published online monthly. Clinical Simulation in Nursing is the official journal of INACSL and reflects the mission INACSL - To advance the science of healthcare simulation. 

Clinical Simulation in Nursing has a 2019 Impact Factor of 1.713, ranking favorably in the Nursing category. All articles are listed in the Science Citation Index Expanded, Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition, Social Science Citation Index, Journal Citation Reports/Social Sciences Edition, and Current Contents/ Social and Behavioral Health Sciences.

Access for Members and Non-Members

Access to journal abstracts is complimentary. Access to full text is limited to subscribers and members. Non-Members may purchase individual articles or access a free trial issue. A subscription to the journal is included with INACSL membership. Members receive an email notification when the monthly issue is released and ready to access. Each quarter INACSL staff posts summaries and links to the most popular articles from the previous quarter.

We will review and accept articles from other health provider disciplines, if they are determined to be of interest to our readership. The journal accepts manuscripts meeting one or more of the following criteria:
