September Fireside Chat: Confessions from the Dean, Directors, and Program Managers: What the SIG Means to Me

When: 9/18/26 at 1:30 pm CT/ 2:30 pm ET

Join us for a special Fireside Chat highlighting the Deans, Directors, and Program Managers Special Interest Group (SIG) featuring SIG chair Sandra Mote, PhD, RN, PMHCNS-BC, CHSE, PNAP and Vice Chair Megan Stuffle, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, CMSRN, CNE, CHSE. We will begin with an overview of the SIG's purpose, benefits, and the value of connecting with colleagues who share similar leadership opportunities and challenges. Participants will also hear about some of the discussions and topics that have been especially meaningful to SIG members over the past year.

The session will then transition into a simulation of an actual SIG meeting experience, giving attendees a firsthand look at how members collaborate, problem-solve, and engage in meaningful professional dialogue. This interactive discussion will focus on Competency-Based Assessment in Simulation, providing participants an opportunity to share insights, explore challenges, exchange practical strategies, and learn from peers in a collegial and engaging environment.
