International Committee

Purpose

The purpose of the International Committee is to support the INACSL membership by:

  1. Explore opportunities for INACSL to expand membership internationally
  2. Develop ideas and processes for INACSL to disseminate the Standards of Best Practice: SimulationSM
  3. Provide regular contact with international member leaders regarding INACSL projects and international outreach

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality about deliberations on committee work
  • Execute the responsibilities and annual charge(s) of the committee to fulfil the committee’s purpose and the association’s strategic plan
  • Lead subcommittee work as necessary or directed by the committee chair
  • Members of any committee shall receive no fee, salary, or remuneration of any kind for service.  Committee members will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred with board approval upon submission of proper documentation

Terms of Office

  • 5 Members at large (minimum)
  • Term = Two years
  • Members may serve a total of two terms (total of 4 years on committee)
  • Membesr may serve on a total of two committtees concurrently

Time Commitment

  • Attend a minimum of four (4) committee meetings annually.
  • Commitment varies with involvement in sub-committees and committee tasks

Qualifications

  • INACSL Member
  • Focus on international membership
  • Commitment to active service
  • Preferred: Members located outside the contiguous United States

Meeting Dates

  • 4th Thursday of the month from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ET
