JOB DESCRIPTION: The Clinical Simulation Center of Las Vegas (CSCLV) Director plays an important leadership role in the overall strategy and operations to advance and support health professional simulation at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She/he must have superior interpersonal skills in order to establish and maintain trusted working relationships with all stakeholders; demonstrated ability to work effectively with faculty leaders; recognition by the faculty as a role model; business acumen; and effective, clear and concise oral and written communication skills. The Director will have expertise in health science simulation with a national and/or international reputation as a leader in the simulation field and scholarship in the area of simulation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in nursing or a related field. The applicant must: 1) hold or be qualified to hold a Nevada RN license; 2) have at least seven years of closely related work experience; 3) be knowledgeable of trends, models, and practices in a university setting; and 4) be knowledge of adherence to policies and procedures.
