Job Description: Under direct supervision from the STIM Center Assistant Director, the Simulation Laboratory Coordinator will oversee, manage, and operate complex simulation equipment, PC's and software, AV equipment and other medical simulation equipment and supplies. This position will coordinate the set-up, use, and maintenance of all simulation equipment in the College of Nursing. This individual will also provide technical support to facilitators and affiliates for sessions, train potential users on programming scenarios, set-up the simulation sessions, and familiarize participants to the simulators.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
-Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a technology related field and at least one-year experience with information technology.
-Proficiency with Laerdal, Gaumard, and CAE brand simulation equipment, software and hardware.
-Proficiency in the use of AV equipment (video cameras, monitors, microphones), including recording, duplication and editing.
-Proficiency with PC applications such as Microsoft Office Suites, and MAC applications.
-Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology and equipment.
-Previous experience in education and/or clinical nursing or healthcare.
-3 -5 years of healthcare simulation related work experience.
-Ability to work effectively with a diverse community.
-High-energy and ability to move in an often fast-paced environment.
-Ability to lift, carry, push, pull 50+ pounds, and demonstrate proper physical requirements associated with performing job functions.
Salary Range: $42,367 to Negotiable
