Responsibilities: Simulation Center Operations – 80%

-Coordinates the delivery of all simulation activities. -Prepare, set up, break down, clean up and restock the simulation, VR, debrief rooms and additional teaching spaces before and after all simulation activities. -Maintains simulation equipment -manikins, simulators, task trainers, SimPads, Instructor PCs, monitors, VR technology - to the extent that these items are kept in good working condition for optimal utilization. -Organizes and maintains storeroom environments, hallways, and control rooms. -Support faculty with operation of equipment, providing hands-on training as needed. -Collaborates with the National Simulation Director to maintain records related to equipment warranties and maintenance plans. -Assists with coordinating regular maintenance and repair all simulation equipment. -Provide learner and faculty orientation to the simulator, manikin, environment- including equipment, supplies, monitors, etc.

 

Requirements: -A minimum of one year of experience working in a clinical environment in a healthcare setting. -Professional certificate, diploma or applied associate’s degree is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. -Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (HSOS) a plus. -Knowledge and ability to use medical simulation equipment. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to lift, move, up to 50 pounds.


Salary Range: $50,000
