Membership Categories
Individual Membership
To qualify for Individual Membership, one must be working in healthcare agencies, hospitals, simulation centers, or academic institutions. Individual Membership requires annual renewal and is non-transferable.
Individual Members Receive:
- The opportunity to earn up to 2 FREE CNE through INACSL's On-Demand educational sessions. These CNE educational sessions are carefully chosen by INACSL to enhance and expand the knowledge of clinical simulation and focus on the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice
- Access to INACSL’s monthly, online journal Clinical Simulation in Nursing, an internationally recognized journal in clinical simulation.
- Savings on all of INACSL’s store items and educational opportunities, including the annual conference and On-Demand content.
- Access to members-only education and content such as the INACSL Research Fellowship.
- Exclusive research grants and conference scholarships opportunities only open to members of INACSL.

Institutional Membership
To qualify for an Institutional Membership a healthcare agency, hospital, simulation center, or academic institution must have a minimum of four (4) people that wish to receive individual member benefits. Additional members may be added at an additional institutional member rate. Member benefits are provided to each individual named on the membership account. Institutional membership requires annual renewal. The individuals on the account are transferable annually during the renewal period.
Institutional Members Receive:
- The opportunity to earn up to 2 free CNE through INACSL's On-Demand educational sessions. These CNE educational sessions are carefully chosen by INACSL to enhance and expand the knowledge of clinical simulation and focus on the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice
- Access to INACSL’s monthly, online journal Clinical Simulation in Nursing, an internationally recognized journal in clinical simulation.
- Savings on all of INACSL’s store items and educational opportunities, including the annual conference and On-Demand content.

Student Membership
To qualify for Student Membership individuals must be an undergraduate level (associate and baccalaureate students) or graduate level (masters and doctorial students) student. Student membership requires a valid current copy of the student’s transcript. Therefore, individuals joining or renewing as a Student Members must include a current transcript along with your request for processing of membership. Student memberships require annual renewal and are non-transferable.
Student Members Receive:

Associate Membership
Companies that provide simulation related resources, services, and/or equipment qualify for an Associate Membership. Two (2) individuals from the organization will receive individual member benefits with the membership. Additional members may be added at an additional associate member rate. Associate Membership requires annual renewal. The individuals on the account are transferable annually during renewal.
Associate Members Receive:
- The opportunity to earn up to 2 free CNE through INACSL's On-Demand educational sessions. These CNE educational sessions are carefully chosen by INACSL to enhance and expand the knowledge of clinical simulation and focus on the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice
- Access to INACSL’s monthly, online journal Clinical Simulation in Nursing, an internationally recognized journal in clinical simulation.

Lifetime Individual Membership
To qualify for a Lifetime Individual Membership, one must be currently working in at healthcare agency, hospital, simulation center, or academic institution. Lifetime Individual Members pay a one-time membership fee with no renewals required. The Lifetime Individual Membership is non-transferable.
Lifetime Individual Members Receive:
- The opportunity to earn up to 2 free CNE through INACSL's On-Demand educational sessions. These CNE educational sessions are carefully chosen by INACSL to enhance and expand the knowledge of clinical simulation and focus on the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice
